The winners are in!

Congratulation to all our winners. We had an excellent showing this year.

A special congratulations to our Best of Show winner Kevin Last from Cedarberg, WI. His Festbier Part-Time German Air Jaws will be ramped up at the Brewhaus! Way to go Kevin!

To see the entire roster of medal placements, check out the results on the competition registration homepage.

Those who were unable to make it to the ceremony should expect their scoresheets (and medals) to be in the mail in a week or so.

Finally, a big thank you to all our volunteers and entrants. A further shout-out to John Harrison and the staff at the Delafield Brewhaus for hosting and taking great care of us again this year.

We’ll see ya for the next chapter in 2019!

The new site is go!

Welcome to the new site for the Schnapp Hans Cup!

For those of you arriving here confused about where to register for the 2018 competition, never fear, we are still using the great BCOEM software to manage registrations. You can find it here, on the registration page.

A new site obviously means we are gearing up for the 2018 competition. The rules remain the same this year, with the allowed styles a subset of the BJCP styles. No sours, experimental, ciders or meads. Please check out the entry page for details.

We want to thank the Delafield Brewhaus and the Beer Barons of Milwaukee for making this competition possible. Also, Northern Brewer for allowing us to house and sort our entries in the basement. Furthermore, The Purple Foot and Brew and Grow for being drop-off locations again this year. Lastly, we want to thank you, the participants, enthusiasts, and volunteers!

Best of luck in 2018!
